Four absorbent pads and re-sealable plastic bag are placed inside each of the ‘Hazpak’ 0.85 L HDPE jars and the lid screwed closed. The 0.85 L HDPE jars are placed into the EPS insulating box. The two EPS stabilising inserts are placed on top of each of the jars and the EPS box is closed. Close and seal the fibreboard box with 48 mm pressure sensitive self adhesive tape in the same manner that the base of the box has been sealed. Add the required amount of absorbent material if specified. Label the box as required.
If using dry ice, the box should be pierced in the position marked to allow for venting. (Make sure that the labels or any other markings are not obliterated or obscured in any way). Note: The use of other packaging methods or components may render the approval of this package invalid. |
